FIND OUT ABOUT US

An NGO that works with the poorest

A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and a registered charity, Electriciens sans frontières works with the poorest communities to improve their living conditions through activities to provide them with access to electricity and water.

OUR ACTION

An overall development impact

Because the use of electricity is so universal it can affect many areas of human and economic development: food, security and access to water, education, health and sanitation, education, and economic development.

OUR ORGANISATION

A strong regional base

The NGO is supported by more than a thousand volunteers from all over France in 14 regional offices. This regional base helps build close relationships with partners.

Each regional delegation is composed of a Regional Secretariat qui regroupe: a Regional Delegate ensuring activity among the local associations, a Projects Officer coordinating the initiation, implementation and regional monitoring of projects, a Regional Treasurer in charge of regional financial monitoring, a Communication and Partenships Officer coordinating the communication and research activities of local partnerships and local financing.

It also has a support team of 8 staff based in the Paris region.
