Electriciens sans fronti\u00e8res is mobilising to provide vital assistance to the people affected by the disaster.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

From Saturday morning, Electriciens sans fronti\u00e8res was preparing to send electrical equipment to help the victims of the earthquake and the organisations working on the ground.<\/em><\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”36098″ img_size=”728X415″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

OUR INTERVENTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Nearly 1.5 tonnes <\/strong>of equipment on 10 pallets, including 500 solar lamps<\/strong>, 12 generators <\/strong>and 600 metres of cable, <\/strong>are ready to be dispatched as soon as the Moroccan authorities give the go-ahead.<\/p>\n

Proposals for access to light and heat for emergency shelters <\/strong>are already being examined. They will enable earthquake victims to get through the winter in the best possible conditions.<\/p>\n

PLANNED MISSION<\/strong><\/h2>\n

From Thursday, two Electriciens sans fronti\u00e8res will be on site to support Morroco Energy Leader<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Their mission will be to help distribute more than 650 solar lighting kits <\/strong>to remote, hard-to-reach villages in the Moroccan mountains.<\/p>\n
