Even before the disaster, residents were struggling to cope with the vulnerability of their fragile homes, often built from makeshift materials. The cyclone amplified this fragility, destroying many of these already unstable homes.

That’s why our teams provide extra support in these areas.

One of the key aspects of our intervention is the distribution of solar lamps. In coordination with our partners Solidarité Internationale and Mlézi Mahores, we distributed solar lamps to families identified as priorities.

This is just the beginning: a total of 2,000 solar lamps will be distributed over the coming weeks to improve living conditions for families.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator border_width=”2″ css=””][vc_single_image image=”39369″ css=””][vc_empty_space height=”1px”][vc_single_image image=”39357″ css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Mobilizing our partners: a strategic lever for emergency response” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]The strength of our action lies in the mobilization of our partners, who enable us to implement solutions tailored to needs. Thanks to their support, we can organize and adapt actions quickly and efficiently.

This solidarity enables us to ensure the continuity of our actions by actively participating in consultation meetings and synergies with other sectors involved in the response to the cyclone.

Electriciens sans frontières’ actions in Mayotte illustrate the importance of cooperation and solidarity in crisis situations.
