Thanks to an unprecedented mobilization of over 20 Syndicats D\u00e9partementaux d’Energie<\/strong> (SDE) and Territoires d’Energie<\/strong> (TE) across France, our teams were able to respond rapidly to the energy emergency. <\/em>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”Solidarity on a national scale” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]Faced with this disaster, the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Nationale des Collectivit\u00e9s Conc\u00e9dantes et R\u00e9gies<\/a> (FNCCR) and its member local authorities expressed their massive and rapid support for the people of Mayotte. In record time, more than \u20ac150,000 was raised for our NGO to activate and support our operations in Mayotte.[\/vc_column_text]

The 1% energy scheme authorizes local authorities and energy associations to devote up to 1% of their budget to cooperative actions in the field of electricity and gas distribution.<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator border_width=”2″ css=””]

\"<\/p>\n\t\tEnergy is a basic necessity that is essential to a decent standard of living. The FNCCR believes that access to sustainable and long-term energy in remote areas of developing countries has a rightful place in the solidarity-based and decentralized cooperation initiatives that French local authorities can undertake. The trusted partnerships that many energy unions have chosen to forge with Electriciens sans fronti\u00e8res perfectly illustrate this approach and enable concrete projects to be carried out.
