Electriciens sans frontières is mobilizing its volunteer teams and partners to provide an emergency response to the energy needs of the affected populations and essential local structures.

Several solar solutions have been deployed to meet the energy needs of disaster-stricken families.

Since 23 September, bombardments in southern Lebanon and Beirut have caused massive destruction, including to civilian infrastructure, leaving 1,600 people dead and 9,000 injured. More than 1 million people have been affected, of whom around 350,000 have been forced to move to 875 emergency shelters, while the fighting is still raging and the bombardments are continuing.
