Electriciens sans frontières, which has been mobilized since the first weeks of the Russian invasion, has intensified its actions in support of local populations and institutions, with one objective: to maintain essential services in a context of armed conflict.

Electriciens sans frontières first mobilised to meet urgent electricity needs (lighting, communication, etc.). To go further and provide clean and sustainable electrical solutions, we are now working on setting up solar installations in schools and training centres.

The violent earthquake and tsunami that struck Indonesia on 28th September 2018 left more than 2,000 dead, as well as thousands of people injured and missing. Electriciens sans frontières' volunteers intervened to help those displaced by the tsunami.

On the island of Dominica, the project aims to allow 6 health centers to function normally in the event of natural disasters. In December 2018, our teams supervised the installation of autonomous solar power plants on the roofs of health centers.
