From Monday, September 28, to Sunday, October 11, 2026, Electriciens sans frontières (Electricians without Borders) and its partners are taking action across France to mark Solidarity Energy Week. Through events organized by its volunteers and partners, the NGO invites the public to learn about its work and the challenges related to access to electricity and water for everyone. This year’s event holds special significance, as 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of Electriciens sans frontières.

The AGRIPOWHER project is coming to a close after nearly two years of implementation. The project is dedicated to empowering women in agricultural entrepreneurship through renewable energy. It aims to strengthen the resilience of 30 women farmers while demonstrating the technical and economic viability of an off-grid agrivoltaic system integrated into a vocational training center in Benin.

The General Assembly of Electriciens sans frontières took place on 15 and 16 June 2026 in Lyon. This annual meeting brought together the regional secretariats, numerous volunteers from the 14 regional delegations, staff members, and members of the Board of Directors. Together, they took time to reflect and work on future energy challenges and the long-term sustainability of the organisation’s work.
